Is your teen at risk? This is a forum to help take teens from struggling to being successful, productive, and maybe even happy again. What a goal, but what an inspirational moment I've felt to write this.

Rebellious Teenager
What can we do about society's rebellious teenagers? That's the mission statement of this on-line work.
Life is so beautiful. I've just had my most real Father's Day ever as I have one on the way. I still work with struggling teens, and as colleague's we often talk about what we'll do so our kids won't need a facility, but I believe that you can make all the right parenting choices and you'll still end up needing a facility to rescue an at risk teen.
Now that I've been a father for a while, I'm already learning to say no when it's what she wants, isn't what she needs, and will create a pattern to hurt her, either by manipulating her parents, or directly to herself.
Start the patterns right, or you'll say yes to your child later when you know you should say no. Yes, for a baby that's just trying to walk, this may be lessons that you feel I cannot yet learn, but I know what I learned at my time at the ranch. I know what they wanted to teach parents, and not just our students. This was one of the patterns they wanted us to look for.
My "day" job was to help the struggling teen or troubled teenager. These youth can find themselves or be found by a parent or loved one as lost. Let's have them feel found, but with the economy I now am doing seasonal temp work, stocking at a warehouse. My side work is to work with Search Engine Optimization or SEO. Contact me if you'd like to learn.
